Longest shot taken on an animal?

I think I told this story as the worst shot I had ever taken also. 450 yards with a .270 at the buck of a lifetime. Thought he was hit good because he did a 10 ft. high back kick and stumbled off. He was stumbling in mud and was not hit good. He was killed a week later and was really sick from the infected wound across his brisket. Longest and worst shot I've ever taken. I was 16 and stupid. Live and ya learn!
