What is he trying to say?

me and my ex are seniors and we broke up a few months ago. we were each other's first loves and we were pretty inceperable in our relationship. we broke up for really dumb reasons like arguing. me and him started to talk again about a month ago. we both told each other that we still have feelings for each other but he said he didn't want a relationship right now. so we just started to hang out again and we ended up hooking up 4 times. a week later, this uglyyyy sophmore asks him out and he said yes. i was so hurt and confused and frustrated and i decided to talk to him about it. i told him i wanted to be with him and he didn't so therefore i'm moving on. his answer was "i never said i didn't." and then i said well you have another girlfriend now so i thought that spoke for itself. and he said "wellll...thought wrong whatever." i don't know what he means by this and when i asked him he just told me to "think." he also told me the reason why he said yes was because he has some feelings for her and they have been friends for a long time and he doesn't want a 'rep' of looking like an a$$hole if he said no or broke up with her out of nowhere. so yahoo users, what do you think?
