Nsg dx for a 3 mnth old infant with URI and a spanish speakin mother?
Your nursing diagnosis is the URI cause by a viral or bacterial infection. The Spanish speaking mother isn't a diagnosis, but a problem you have to overcome. Your actions include, your discharge instructions reflecting that instructions were given to the mother via an interpreter and her questions were answered the same way. Your care plan needs to follow the protocol for your facility, especially when giving instructions about any medicines, nutrition, follow-up visits, etc. Remember to include age specific care in your discharge instructions.
