Wrongfully terminated employees?
I worked as a laborer/miner at a cement prod.plant.There is a slight twist in this. I was the only female working out in the field with 60-80 male co-workers. Not only did I love my job but earned the respect as being a kick worker.Out of the 60-80 men there was one jerk in particular that not only harred me but other past female employees and other men with regard to their race etc... Some have complained but nothing was ever done.He was referred to as "The Untouchable" His employment lasted for 6 years. Coincidentally his employ. terminated when mine did.(I turned him in many times to my boss and management), but it took a "near miss" accident, which involved myself being trapped inside a dust collector and the untouchable individual slammed the steel door on top and pounded on it with a sledge hammer. They fired both of us.Not because of my allegations but because he was previously disciplined for harr. Now we learned we were exposed to HIGH TOXINS whats our recourse???
